Inside a Light Commercial HVAC Evaluation

Most people never see what's actually keeping their building comfortable. It all happens tucked away in mechanical rooms like this one - out of sight, out of mind. Until something goes wrong.

This is a peek behind the curtain at a light commercial HVAC evaluation. This kind of work is a lot more involved than a basic residential tune-up. Commercial systems handle bigger loads, serve more people, and have a lot more components that need to be checked and verified.

Here's what we're looking at: a packaged rooftop-style unit installed at floor level in a mechanical room, complete with ductwork connections, refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and condensate drainage. Every one of those components has to be working correctly - and working together - for the system to do its job. When we do an evaluation like this, we're not just glancing at the unit and calling it good. We're going through the whole system.

This is exactly the kind of work we specialize in. Whether it's an evaluation, a new AC installation, or troubleshooting a system that's struggling to keep up, we bring the same level of detail to every job. Light commercial work requires a different set of skills, and we're built for it.

Understanding your HVAC system is the first step to maintaining it well. When you know what you have and what condition it's in, you can make smarter decisions about repairs, replacements, and upgrades - before a breakdown forces your hand.
